Installing the Logtastic plugin – free version

There are multiple ways to install the free version of our plugin. The easiest, and recommended option, is to install via the WordPress plugin directory, directly from your WordPress admin dashboard. If you are unable to use this method, the plugin can also be installed via direct upload via your WordPress admin dashboard, or uploaded via FTP/SFTP.

Install via the WordPress plugin directory

The easiest, and recommended, way to install the free version of the Logtastic plugin is directly from the WordPress plugin directory via the Add Plugin interface in your WordPress admin.

1. Navigate to Plugins > Add Plugin in your WordPress admin area
2. Enter Logtastic in the Search Plugins field and hit Enter
3. On the Logtastic plugin entry, click the Install Now button
4. Wait for installation to complete, then click the Activate button
5. The plugin is now installed and activated. Navigate to Logtastic in the WordPress admin menu to begin setting up the plugin

Install via direct upload to your WordPress admin area

If you are unable to install the plugin via the Add Plugin interface in WordPress admin, the free version of the Logtastic plugin can also be installed via direct upload via your WordPress admin dashboard.

1. Visit the plugins page on the WordPress.org plugin repository
   https://wordpress.org/plugins/logtastic/
2. Click the Download button to download the latest version of the plugin
3. Navigate to Plugins > Add Plugin in your WordPress admin area
4. Click the Upload Plugin button
5. Click Choose file and select the downloaded Logtastic zip file on your computer
6. Click the Install Now button
7. Wait for installation to complete, then click the Activate button
8. The plugin is now installed and activated. Navigate to Logtastic in the WordPress admin menu to begin setting up the plugin

Install via FTP/SFTP

If you are unable to install the plugin via the Upload Plugin interface in WordPress admin, the free version of the Logtastic plugin can also be installed via direct upload to your server via FTP/SFTP.

1. Visit the plugins page on the WordPress.org plugin repository
   https://wordpress.org/plugins/logtastic/
2. Click the Download button to download the latest version of the plugin
3. Extract the downloaded Logtastic plugin zip file
4. Use your usual FTP/SFTP client to upload the extracted logtastic directory to /wp-content/plugins/ on your server.
5. Navigate to Plugins > Installed Plugins in your WordPress admin area
6. Locate the Logtastic plugin in the list of installed plugins
7. Click the Activate link underneath the Logtastic plugin title
8. The plugin is now installed and activated. Navigate to Logtastic in the WordPress admin menu to begin setting up the plugin

Installing the Logtastic plugin – pro version

There are multiple ways to install the pro version of our plugin. The easiest, and recommended option, is to install via direct upload to your WordPress admin dashboard. You can also install the plugin by uploading to your server via FTP/SFTP.

Install via direct upload to your WordPress admin area

The easiest, and recommended, way to install the pro version of the Logtastic plugin is via direct upload via your WordPress admin dashboard

1. Log in to the My Account area on the Logtastic website
2. Navigate to the Downloads section
3. Click the Download button to download the latest version of the plugin
4. Navigate to Plugins > Add Plugin in your WordPress admin area
5. Click the Upload Plugin button
6. Click Choose file and select the downloaded Logtastic zip file on your computer
7. Click the Install Now button
8. Wait for installation to complete, then click the Activate button
9. The plugin is now installed and activated. Navigate to Logtastic in the WordPress admin menu to begin setting up the plugin

Install via FTP/SFTP

If you are unable to install the plugin via the Upload Plugin interface in WordPress admin, the pro version of the Logtastic plugin can also be installed via direct upload to your server via FTP/SFTP.

1. Log in to the My Account area on the Logtastic website
2. Navigate to the Downloads section
3. Click the Download button to download the latest version of the plugin
4. Extract the downloaded Logtastic plugin zip file
5. Use your usual FTP/SFTP client to upload the extracted logtastic directory to /wp-content/plugins/ on your server.
6. Navigate to Plugins > Installed Plugins in your WordPress admin area
7. Locate the Logtastic plugin in the list of installed plugins
8. Click the Activate link underneath the Logtastic plugin title
9. The plugin is now installed and activated. Navigate to Logtastic in the WordPress admin menu to begin setting up the plugin
